The Chelmsford and District Scottish Society aims to foster and encourage social fellowship and friendship amongst Scots and their families, and also welcomes others with a love or interest in Scotland and the culture, as members.
We celebrate the birthday of Robert Burns and arrange other suitable social events. The Society supports Scottish and other deserving charities through donations from time to time. 
​Currently its programme includes dances, a St Andrews’ Night Supper and entertainment, a quiz night, outings and rambles/walks. The Society maintains links with other Societies in the area, in particular Sandon Scottish Country Dance Club.
